We shared with our students today about the Code of Conduct. Please make sure that you look for the GCS Code of Conduct book to come home next week. Look over it with your student.

REMINDERS for STUDENTS

Open drink containers are to be disposed of prior to entering the building in the morning.

Check your SMOD prior to dressing for school. Make sure you have a belt.

Keep your tablet in your bookbag on the way to and from school. Keep it safe.

Remember the internet safety rules we talked about today. Do not put anything on the web that is not appropriate. BE careful when you text, tweet, e-mail, and communicate on FACEBOOK.

 The GCS STRATEGIC PLAN

In January 2013, Guilford County Schools launched its 2016 Strategic Plan, called "Achieving Educational Excellence: Personalizing Learning." The plan will focus on four areas: Personalized Learning (Area I); Character, Service and Safety (Area II); Parent, Family and Community (Area III) and Educator and Organizational Excellence (Area IV).
